I try to build systems that understand context, not just commands.

Hyungwoo Song is a Ph.D. student in Intelligence and Information at Seoul National University. His research sits at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Centered AI, Accessibility, and Education.

He studies how people make sense of AI-driven systems, how these systems can support learning and care, and how design can make complex technologies more inclusive and accountable.

He is especially interested in designing technologies that are not merely automated, but understandable, adaptable, and responsive to people's lived contexts.
