Interfaces have manners.

Every button, delay, and prompt tells people what kind of participation is expected of them.

Every interface teaches a small etiquette: what can be asked, how fast to respond, when to trust, and when to stay silent.

I want Field Notes to be a place for this kind of observation — not yet a paper, not necessarily polished, but worth keeping.
